Description

This is a nice leather album from the 1950s, the outside feature emblems for Princeton University, Syracuse University and Rochester University. Inside it's filled with dozens of pre-printed pages with brief backgrounds of United States stamps produced between 1950-1961. This collection features plate blocks of (4) stamps mint never hinged that have been enclosed in a plastic display sleeve. The bulk of the collection is from the mid to late 1950s. We have done a quick calculation and our underestimate is approximately $23.00 in face value, 140 plate blocks of different stamps ranging in face value from 1-10 cents (560 stamps). There are also many blank unfilled pages and a folder with some used circulated stamps. The album measures 13 inches high, 10 inches wide and 1.5 inches deep. Check out our other antique listings.
